Andrew is a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, where he was News Director for the Northwestern News Network. He has worked previously as a TV reporter in South Bend, Indiana, interned for Wolf with Wolf Blitzer at CNN, reported from Washington, D.C. during the 2016 Presidential Election, and has been published in USA Today, U.S. News & World Report, Military Times and more.

Andrew leads the August 21, 2017 NewsCenter 16 at 5:30 newscast live from St. Joseph High School in South Bend, Indiana, where three hours prior nearly 1,000 students filled the football stands to view the solar eclipse.
Andrew was an intern at CNN in Atlanta during the Summer of 2018, helping write and produce for “Wolf” with Wolf Blitzer. While there, he recorded a short anchoring reel.
On October 9, 2016, Andrew was at the Second Presidential Debate at Washington University in St. Louis. Working alongside media legends, Andrew covered the debate with a focus on young people and their feelings about the candidates and the issues.

Originally from Niles, Michigan, Andrew, the son of a school teacher and a factory worker, became fascinated with journalism after getting involved with his high school’s newspaper as a freshman. He quickly rose to editor-in-chief and decided that journalism was his calling.

After a three-month internship writing stories for his local newspaper, Andrew began his freshman year at Northwestern and started his journey to becoming a broadcast journalist.
